Production practice

Today we had our first practise for the production!

The story was about knees that make the worlds jokes. We were told which character was which and we learn all the songs. There were little roles that we learnt about like the chefs and the knock knock joke knomes. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait until the production!

Term 2 writing

In term 2 we got to do a lot of fun things from writing. This is something we did!

Acrostic poem

Molten hot lava shooting out of the mountains as they fight

In the distance the little mountains play happily unaware of the war

Great mountains fight for the beautiful Pihanga

Hahaha laughs the mighty tongariro as he beats up the other mountains

The other mountains rush at tongariro hoping to damage him but he's too strong

You need to stop says pihanga but the mountains take no notice

My strength is too much for you says tongriro but the other mountains are desperate to destroy him

Oh no says tauhara I don't know how much more I can take

Uh I don't know if I can take this anymore says putauaki

Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu are still in the distance as happy as ever

Taranaki starts to get weaker although he still has some power left in him

At last tongriro is too strong for the other mountains to defeat

I think I'll go to the setting suns says taranaki as his weight make empty rivers

No I can't leave pihanga says tauhara as he only go to the northern end of lake taupo

So everybody else is gone thought putauaki so I think I'll find a plain and stay there
